A groundbreaking lock screen for Android. The goal was to create quick and easy access to key applications that users use on a daily basis. In the Android operating system, internal navigation was cumbersome and not intuitive. Most users have many apps and in order to get to the app they want, they have to go through several screens.
Our concept was to create a deep dimension/axis so users can access everything that matters to them -- through gestures, right from the start. It was an innovative approach at the time and changed the user experience for Android. It was a revolutionizing change for the lock screen, saving a lot of time and frustration. The reviews were amazing, with over 50 million downloads! Users love the feature and have adapted it for their own use, with many copycats. We even switched to Android because of it ;)
