SparkBeyond is an advanced AI analytics platform for solving business and social problems. It is a complex system and is typically used by experienced data scientists. SparkBeyond wanted to reach a wider audience and produce an easy-to-use tool for analysts which would give them data-based insights and business recommendations.
As part of our research, we conducted interviews with analysts to better understand how they work and what their challenges are. We led a design sprint workshop where we defined the goals, understood the challenges, and created a fast prototype for utility testing with analysts. Within two weeks, we gathered feedback and understood how to proceed. Indeed, SparkBeyond executed quick changes following the usability testing and within 3 months they went live with an alpha product.
